Prime Minister Justin Trudeau returned to Alumni Hall at Western University for the second year in a row last week. This time he brought his Cabinet Ministers with him and I was able to meet Seamus O'Reagan! (All my mornings of watching Canada AM before school finally paid off!) Too bad we didn't get a picture together. It's his birthday today, so if you're reading this, happy birthday, Seamus!
I have seen the Prime Minister three times now, including one time before he was in office. Each time, I try to think, "What can I learn from this experience?" since many people will never get to see him in person. Each time, I have watched him answer so many questions from so many people on a wide variety of topics, each one with their own point of view. Every time, I come away with the same message. Be respectful. Be a good person. Be polite. Even if the person talking to you isn't doing the same things.
